On November 28, COLDPRAY returns to their hometown of Groningen for a special headline show at EM2.

COLDPRAY is a fresh, ambitious and meticulously crafted Coldplay tribute from Groningen. The band has one clear goal: to become the biggest and most convincing Coldplay tribute in the Netherlands and Europe. With the same line-up as the original band, a frontman with a similar vocal range to Chris Martin, and a show where music, lighting and visual presentation come together, COLDPRAY aims to recreate the atmosphere of a real Coldplay concert as closely as possible.

After an extensive festival season featuring major performances at events including the Nijmegen Four Days Marches and Sneekweek, it’s time to close out the year where it all began for COLDPRAY: in Groningen.

For this show, they are taking things to the next level. For the first time, COLDPRAY will present a completely new light show, fully driven by timecode and created in collaboration with Groningen-based audiovisual company 2Join. They will also bring their new custom instruments, painted in Coldplay’s iconic neon style.

Expect a show lasting over two hours, inspired by Coldplay’s spectacular Music of the Spheres tour. From powerful anthems to intimate moments, and from Yellow and Clocks to Viva La Vida, Paradise, A Sky Full of Stars and Fix You: COLDPRAY takes you on a journey through Coldplay’s biggest hits and most beloved songs.
